PREAMBLE

The Society of Cannabis Clinicians (SCC) has been in the forefront of cannabinoid medicine practice and education for more than 20 years. It is one of the premier organizations advocating for expanding clinical research and increasing the evidence-based application of medicinal cannabis. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit renowned for its quarterly presentations by individuals on the frontlines of cannabis research and clinical practice, worldwide. Over the past few years, the organization has revamped its website, updated its clinical curriculum and established chapters across 3 continents. The organization is now developing plans to offer its educational programs both in the United States and abroad.

As the organization evolves, so does our leadership. While we encourage greater participation of our members, the impetus within the organization has been our board. Less hierarchical and more self-initiating, we strive to develop an expansive vision of the organization that supports its continued growth and relevance. We are developing a more collaborative process which calls for consistent attendance and active participation.
