Cannabis in the Management of Neurodegenerative & Movement Disorders
Stacey Kerr, MD reviews the essential literature and clinical impact of cannabinoids on movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and central nervous system injury. Participants will learn the current science and potential applications of cannabis for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis, restless leg syndrome, and dementia. The physiological mechanisms by which cannabinoids may be beneficial for these conditions are discussed in detail, alongside relevant case reports.
