Cannabis Use in Women’s Health
Genester Wilson-King, MD, FACOG shares specific research and case studies on cannabis for dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, polycystic ovary disease, and explores how some of these conditions may be a result of endocannabinoid dysfunction. The course addresses ancient historical uses of cannabis for gynecological conditions and traces the research to the present day. This module covers how the endocannabinoid system interacts with the female reproductive organ system, gender differences in cannabis use and effects, and how cannabis may influence sexual function.
