The SCC was founded by Tod Mikuriya, MD — a physician, researcher, and creator of a new specialty, “Cannabis Clinician.” Tod envisioned a journal in which clinicians monitoring cannabis use by patients could share observations. O’Shaughnessy’s continues to this day.
