The SCC is the first and oldest U.S. medical organization promoting the use of medical cannabis. This year marks our 21st anniversary as a nonprofit organization advocating for doctor and patient rights. Our goal is to develop continuing education for healthcare professionals and share resources that we have learned and gathered in our collective years of experience.

O’Shaughnessy’s Journal

SCC Founder Tod Mikuriya, MD was a physician, researcher, and creator of a new “Cannabis Clinician” specialty. Tod envisioned a journal where clinicians monitoring patients’ cannabis use could share observations. O’Shaughnessy’s continues to this day.
