DESCRIPTION:SCC Board Member\, Dr. Shiksha Gallow\, will be representing the Society of Cannabis Clinicians and sharing her clinical perspective at this international event. \nThe “Asia International HEMP Expo” is the first and only international event in Thailand for businesspeople and industrialists seeking information\, crucial benefits\, greater awareness and sustainable solutions for the future of hemp which has already been unlocked and legalized in Thailand. \nThailand holds the distinction of being the first country in Asia to legalize the use of hemp\, making it an attractive destination for investment in the hemp industry. Its prime location and favorable conditions for cultivation provide a strong foundation for entrepreneurs. The country’s notable governmental support has further solidified Thailand’s position as a pioneer nation in hemp planting and processing. As a result\, domestic entrepreneurs have been able to advance rapidly in both fiber and extract development. \nThe Thai Industrial Hemp Trade Association (TiHTA) serving as the official agency that collaborates with the government to formulate and implement policies related to hemp use\, has forged a partnership with the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center\, the most modern and newest convention center in Southeast Asia\, to organize the “Asia International Hemp Expo and Forum 2023”. The expo is scheduled to take place during 22-25 November 2023. \nThe “Asia International Hemp Expo” is the very first trade exhibition for hemp industry in Asia which is organized annually. In 2023\, this expo is the second edition which will showcase the latest in cutting-edge hemp technology\, materials and equipment for planting\, extracting and processing\, with the aim of facilitating the establishment of production bases in Thailand. In addition\, it will provide a valuable platform for comprehensive business negotiations among raw material suppliers and manufacturers of processed hemp products\, covering the entire supply chain from upstream to downstream as well as opportunities for export channels.” \nThe expo will focus on the following primary industries: medical supplies\, food and beverages\, cosmetics and spas\, fashion apparel\, composite products\, building materials (such as HEMP Crete)\, and other alternative materials. \nRegister
