DESCRIPTION:As part of our continued efforts to share more information about the clinical evidence covered in the SCC’s Clinical Training Curriculum\, our webinar series “Meet the Authors”\, will give participants a unique opportunity to experience discussion with experts in the field of medical cannabis. \nDon’t miss the September edition of “Canna Talk with Frye and Wilson-King” on September 23rd as we explore cannabis for health promotion and disease prevention with Dustin Sulak\, DO.\nThese educational webinars are free for all to attend. The curriculum co-directors Patricia Frye\, MD and Genester Wilson-King\, MD will host informal conversations with Dr. Sulak and discuss how he was introduced to cannabinoid medicine\, what inspired his particular specialty\, and clinical pearls he learned along the way. We will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the topics Dr. Sulak presented in his SCC Clinical Training Module Cannabis for Health Promotion & Disease Prevention. Join us by registering via the link below. \n  \nREGISTRATION >> \n  \n \nDustin Sulak\, D.O. is an osteopathic physician\, licensed in Maine as a general practitioner. He is an expert in integrative medicine\, the intelligent combination of conventional and alternative approaches to healthcare. He has long been fascinated by mind-body medicine\, spirituality in healthcare\, and natural approaches to promoting health and healing. He is an expert in cranial and biodynamic osteopathy\, a clinical hypnotherapist\, Reiki sensei\, practitioner of chi kung and yoga\, and has studied with numerous conventional and alternative healers and physicians. \nDr. Sulak’s clinical practice focuses on treating refractory conditions in adults and children.  He received undergraduate degrees in nutrition science and biology from Indiana University\, a doctorate of osteopathy from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine\, and completed an osteopathic internship at Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency.  Dr. Sulak is the founder of Integr8 Health and Healer.com\, a medical cannabis education resource.  He is a passionate teacher of clinicians\, patients and industry professionals\, and sits on the board of directors of two nonprofits focused on cannabis education\, The Society of Cannabis Clinicians and Patients Out of Time.
